Polyester Wire

Polyester wire is the perfect alternative to steel vineyard wire for use as movable foliage wires. Because of its inherent elasticity, polyester wire enables growers to easily manage moveable wires during the growing season. When tensioned properly, polyester wire can be stretched during the wire lifting phase of canopy management and will return to its original elasticity upon completion of wire lifting. Polyester wire resists stretching, will never corrode and is free from expansion/contraction due to changes in temperature. Polyester wire can be secured simply by tieing a knot or thru the use of gripples. Polyester wire is carbon based and therefore UV resistant and has a max lifespan of 30 years.
