PermaNet is the perfect choice for growers looking to use side
nets while avoiding the costly laborious task of apply/removing
nets. PermaNet is an extremely durable, small-meshed net made
to withstand the elements encountered while permanently hung on
the trellis wires. When using PermaNet, growers only need to install
the nets the 1st year of use. Once installed, at time of verasion,
growers only need to "roll" down or "lift-up"
nets to cover and protect the fruit. At time of harvest, growers
simply "roll-up" or gather the nets back to the original
trellis wire where it remains until next season.
Additional benefits obtained from the use of PermaNet
include the protection from hail, sunburn and the elimination
of any need to store nets during the "off-season".

How
it works Simply using an ATV (or tractor)
the Netline Netting machine allows rapid removal of netting from
the vines. Approx. 1 hectare / hour. Using readily available, cheap
materials, the netting is applied to each side of the vine.
Minimal labour is required, using only 2
or 3 workers (including driver) to attach the netting to a foliage
wire above and a dripper wire below the fruiting zone.
Removing the netting only requires one person to
drive the tractor (or ATV) for rapid removal with the Netline
Netting machine re-spooling the netting ensuring it is ready for
the next season.
The Netline machine can also be used for distribution
of trellis wire and fencing wire, both ringlok and single wire.
Simply
using an ATV (or tractor) the Netline Netting machine allows
rapid removal of netting from the vines. Approx. 1 hectare
/ hour.

A single Transmit/Control unit operates an unlimited number or Receive/Speaker
units within a 1,000 foot (330 meter) line of sight radius. The
solid-state electronics are mounted inside a weather-resistant control
box suitable for most any condition. The Bird Gard Super Pro wireless
is fully programmable, with adjustments for volume, specific sound combinations,
daylight, night, or 24-hour operation. Each Receive/Speaker unit
contains four high power amplifiers and four speakers enclosed in a
metal housing for crystal-clear digital output in any weather.
As bird pressure increases, additional Receive/Speaker units may be
added to especially difficult problem areas where birds may be attacking.
The sound chip is located on the faceplate of the Transmit/Control unit
so it can be easily changed in the field for protection against a greater

The controller electronically modulates calls so it sounds like different
injured birds of the same species.
Please note: High-voltage electrical transmission
lines and cell phone towers in close proximity may interfere with the
operation of the Super Pro Wireless unit. In these situations,
the regular Super Pro unit (wired version) must be used.
The Transmit/Control unit mounts easily to a post or pole
using the included mounting hardware and is powered by either 110/220VAC
or 12-volt battery. Each Receive/Speaker unit effectively covers
a circular area approximately 600 feet (185 meters) in diameter.

Optional solar panels are available to keep batteries trickle charged

Operation
The Bird Gard Super Pro Wireless is preset on DAY,
SHORT, RANDOM - all that is required is that the speakers and power
are connected and the unit turned ON

BirdScarer
Introducing the BirdScarer, the ingenious bird-scare device
that takes flight to scare away hungry birds. Launched into flight by
the wind, the Birdscarer flaps its wings as it darts around the sky,
adding both movement and noise to scare away hungry birds. As the wind
eases off, a counterweight retracts the line back into the pole, leaving
the Birdscarer perched atop it’s pole, eagerly awaiting the next
gust of wind.
The Birdscarer is a large black bird shaped kite with
a 5' 6" wingspan and 3' 4"in height. It is expertly made for
maximum durability and longevity with high quality materials such as
nylon Oxford cloth and sparred with a solid fiberglass frame. Reinforcements
and connectors are of strong vinyl and seat belt webbing.
Critical to the operation of the Birdscarer is the unique
retractable line system. The 45 degree angled PVC top section encloses
a 11'6" line which launches the Birdscarer into the wind, The Birdscarer
sits upon a 20' steel pole scaring birds by it’s very presence,
shape and color.

Zon
Cannons Zon Cannons have been used to scare pest
birds and wildlife away from
agricultural crops and industrial/commercial areas worldwide for over
50 years.
The
Zon Mark 4 Propane Cannon provides a single pressure regulated sonic blast
to frighten and disorient pest birds & wildlife. The volume of the
blast is adjustable from 100 - 125 decibels. Blasts are generated by readily
available propane gas. After starting the gas and setting the regulator
at the desired blast interval (from ~40 seconds, up to 30 minutes), the
Zon will operate unattended. A standard 20 pound propane tank will provide
approximately 17,000 detonations.
The Zon comes standard with legs keeping
~1 foot off the ground. One cannon will protect ~1 - 5 acres, depending
on the shape and topography of the field.
The
optional Zon Tripod Assembly elevates the Zon ~4 feet high and
allows it to rotate approximately 60 degrees with the impact of
each blast. This protects more acreage since each blast is in
a different direction from the last. For taller crops, 1 or 2
Tripod Extension Kits can be added to raise the cannon as much
as 4 additional feet
Using
