Staple prevents clip turning or being knocked
off by harvesting and pruning machines
Double ended hook allows wire to be forced
upward or downward
Load bearing area is 17 mm wide
Ideal for VERTICAL SHOOT POSITIONING
Easy to use: Wire is held securely but
is easy to lift out or re-position
Protects galvanizing on wire from wear
by wind movement or foliage
Cheap and easy to install
USED to secure "cordon" or foliage
wires to wood posts allowing easy wire relocation
while resisting wire wear and machinery damage.
Tuckaway Staple
Designed to hold the wire firmly against the posts, the
unique precision curve allows wires to be released for repositioning of
foliage. The staples have no secondary components, are extremely strong,
and do not twist. Twin barbs ensure retention in the timber.
Timber splitting is reduced due to the two legs, which
afford twice the load bearing area of conventional staples. When installed,
the staples are non-protruding, allowing a harvester to pass without
causing damage to either harvester or staples, and they will not catch
on bird netting!
The trim design (staples measure 59mm x 4mm)
minimises handling time and staples are easily installed to a precise
depth with Tuckaway's light-weight, affordable pneumatic driver, or
with a hammer and Tuckaway's hand driver.
Load the staple into
the head of the hand driver. Press the points of the staple firmly against
the post in the desired position. Use a hammer of 0.7 to 1.2kg weight
and approximately 40mm diameter face. Hammer until driver face meets
the post, then simply disengage the driver from the staple by raising
the back of the hand driver. The wire is then inserted into the staple.
WARNING:
Failure to follow the above instructions could result in personal injury
to operator and bystanders or cause damage to tool and property. Protective
glasses and clothing should be worn during operation.
Plastic is non-corrosive. Will not wear on vineyard wire
Ideal for undulating vineyards

Clips Metal Rod and Bamboo Training Stake
Clips
Commonly used to firmly fasten vine support
stakes to training wires, all clips shown below will help to maintain
upright stakes in the strongest winds. Straight trunks are critical
to maintaining healthy grapevines. While this is true for the life of
the vine, it is particularly true during vineyard establishment.
TRC50: Galv. steel
clip, to be used with 1/2” diameter vine support stake.
TRC14: Galv. steel clip, to be used with
1/4” diameter vine support stake.
Bamboo Clip: UV stabilized plastic clip,
to be used with support stakes up to 1/2” diameter.
Wfix Clip: UV stablized plastic clip,
to be used with 1/4” diameter vine support stake.
