Timber splitting is reduced due to the two legs, which afford twice the load bearing area of conventional staples. When installed, the staples are non-protruding, allowing a harvester to pass without causing damage to either harvester or staples, and they will not catch on bird netting!

The trim design (staples measure 59mm x 4mm) minimises handling time and staples are easily installed to a precise depth with Tuckaway's light-weight, affordable pneumatic driver, or with a hammer and Tuckaway's hand driver.

Installation Information

Load the staple into the head of the hand driver. Press the points of the staple firmly against the post in the desired position. Use a hammer of 0.7 to 1.2kg weight and approximately 40mm diameter face. Hammer until driver face meets the post, then simply disengage the driver from the staple by raising the back of the hand driver. The wire is then inserted into the staple.
